Our Cottages

All our cottages are fully heated and equipped with washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, digital Freeview  television, wireless internet and telephone. Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge, and cots and highchairs are available on request.Pets are welcome everywhere except The Cottage, which we aim to keep ‘allergy-free’.

Children are especially welcome and guests staying in our cottages have full access to all the facilities enjoyed by those staying in the guest house, including the grounds and swimming pool. When the guest house is open (Easter to December), you are also welcome to make use of the reception rooms in the house and to reserve tables for breakfast and evening meals.

The Bungalow

Description
The Bungalow was originally built as a home for Hilda Graveling when her son and daughter-in-law took over the running of the guest house in 1978. It is situated at the rear of The Grove and sleeps two people in one twin bedded room.

 

 

The Coach House

Description
The Coach House has one double room. The downstairs open-plan kitchen and living room benefits from large windows built into the old doorway through which the horse-drawn coaches used to enter.

The Cottage was formerly a barn, renovated at the same time as Mrs Page’s, in the early 1990s. It sleeps two people in one double room.

Description
The former stable was converted in 1987 and still contains the original hay rack. It sleeps four people in one double room and one twin bedded room.

The Barn

Description
The largest of the cottages is the former barn. It sleeps six people in one twin bedded room, one double room and a downstairs room with bunk beds. Most of the ground floor is a spacious open-plan kitchen-dining-living room, and upstairs are two bathrooms.

Description
The old gardener’s cottage was renovated in the early 1990s. It is named after the lady who lived there until just before this time, reaching the grand old age of 100. Mrs Page’s is a ground floor cottage with one twin bedded room and one single room.
