Bird Watching Holidays

Norfolk is well-known for being a bird-watcher’s paradise. Its enormous variety of birds and easily accessible reserves make it probably the best county for birding in the UK. Top sites include Titchwell Marsh, the RSPB’s most visited reserve; Pensthorpe, host to the BBC’s Springwatch series; and Cley Marshes, the Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s oldest reserve and adjacent to the renowned Blakeney Point.

Thursford Christmas Spectacular

The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is the biggest and most exciting Christmas show of all time in Britain.

Our Thursford 2012 package includes two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation, tickets for this incredible show and door-to-door transport. It is available for selected Saturday performances in November and December, and costs just £159 per person.

Alternatively, for those who have made their own ticket arrangements, The Grove will be open for business – we look forward to seeing you.

Cycling Holidays

The coast and quiet country lanes of North Norfolk are perfect to explore on two wheels, and when you stay at The Grove you can have bikes delivered to your door, ready to ride. Sea Palling Cycle Hire provides a range of cycles for all ages at excellent rates, including tandems, trikes, trailer buggies and tag-alongs for children. Golfing Breaks

Guests of The Grove are entitled to 10% off their green fee  at The Royal Cromer Golf Club. Located just a couple of minutes up the road from The Grove, the Royal Cromer stretches along the cliff between Cromer and Overstrand.

The Grove also hosts golf holidays for groups and individuals run by 'Your Golf Travel', providing golf and accommodation in one package.

Tennis and Squash

Guests of The Grove can play tennis at the rate of £10 instead of £12 per hour, and squash at £4 instead of £5 per hour (juniors are half-price), courtesy of the Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Association which is a 5 minute walk from the guest house.
